The final round of the SEMRC was held at the at Ellough Park, Kieran went into this meeting in 3rd place in the Academy Cup, with some people doubting that he would come away with 3rd place in the championship.

But Kieran rode well all weekend and had every intention of riding well but also using his head so as to defend his 3rd place and that a result of 4th or better over the 3 races would be enough stay 3rd.

In race 1 Kieran jockeyed with Jake Bayford for 3rd position, but was just lost by a small gap to Jake and so finished in 4th.

Kieran of course wanted to do the same in race 2, but took dad's advice and did not bother to risk losing his third place in the championship and so rode a tad slower and settled for 4th place in race 2.

In race 3 Kieran finished 3rd and thus finished 4th overall in the days races and successfully defended his 3rd place in the 2007, Phoenix Academy Cup Championship.
